About Worn by Water
Hi, I’m Holly, the creator behind Worn by Water. I’m a 16-year-old silversmith who has always loved being creative. Ever since I was little, I enjoyed taking old second-hand jewellery apart and turning it into something new.

Two years ago, my cousin introduced me to wire-wrapping sea glass, and I instantly fell in love with working with natural pieces from the ocean. Not long after, I came across a video of someone setting sea glass in 925 sterling silver. I remember showing my parents and saying how amazing it would be to do something like that one day. Instead of telling me to wait, they encouraged me to start straight away.

So I did. I bought my first pieces of silver and the tools I needed and began teaching myself. There were lots of failed pieces and months of learning through practice and watching demonstrations online, but I kept going.

Today, Worn by Water is where I share the jewellery I create, handmade pieces crafted from ocean found materials and set in 925 sterling silver. Each piece is inspired by the ocean and designed to be something special that can be worn and loved every day.
